The most helpful work samples capture an artist's unique sensibility and area of investigation, especially as it relates to the proposed work. The aim is to bring the panel as close to the actual experience of being in your audience as possible.
Work Sample Instructions for Playwrights and Librettists
You may submit electronically by uploading a full script or libretto completed in the last five years.
- File Size: No larger than 4MB
- File format: PDF or Microsoft Word (.doc)
- MAP cannot review documents uploaded in any other format.
The MAP Fund no longer accepts scripts in hard copy form.
Work-In-Progress Samples
If the work for which you are seeking funding is already in progress, you may send one work-in-progress sample, in addition samples from previous completed work. Please follow the same formatting and submission requirements listed above.
